ATN Viper 1 Night Vision Goggles
ATN Viper 1 Night Vision Goggles are a good choice if you need a general purpose night vision device that won’t break the bank. The device comes complete with a fabric strap, with forehead and chin pads, for hands free operation. This is great for activities such as camping, fishing or boating. Despite its quality glass lenses, the unit is remarkably small and light,(9oz). It can also function as a compact monocular and be attached to a camera for night time photography.
It is a 1st generation device using a built in infra-red illuminator, powered by a single lithium ion battery. This is enough for a full night of continuous operation. The unit doesn’t offer any magnification as standard but this is available as an option. As it stands, it is more than capable for general use. Although this is a low end model, ATN is a world leader in night vision technology, so you can count on getting the beat bang for your buck.

This is the exact model that I own. It is hard to beat for the price especially from ATN. I’ve had great fun and used the Viper 1 on many occasions.
